Reading activate

We have been reading a book called Refuge, I have done this activate. I drew the scene of Mahomoud and his mother at sea. Mahomoud is shining the in the dark while sea water spalshes in his face. The BOY is on the Left and MOTHER is RIGHT

READING ACTIVATE

In room six we have been reading a book called refuge by allen gratz, the book is about three families who are all refuges they stories take place in differant decades and the countries
Syria, Germany and Cuba. They have all had set backs in their journey.

In room six we have been working on descripeted writing here is my writing,I have made these sentences better

It is night time.

A boy walks on a road.

He sees a figure.

He feels happy.

THE CREEP ON THE ROAD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is a cold wintery night, the ground is all but frozen.
The grass is like green crystal.
All of a  sudden a cold current of wind blows in my face.

The wolves start to howl. 

I bolt, my shadow follows behind me, keen to leave the wolves.

“GO AWAY YOU CREEP” I yell, paranoid someone’s there.  

I scamper across the gravel road and see headlights.
I am so excited, my DAD!   
I run up to the ute, pleased to leave this place.

For topic room 6 has doing some art work. We typed our name on a document, printed it out, we ruled a couple of lines and we got a ruler,we colored in.
