Wear able Arts

Today at tech me and Gage  worked more on our costume. We have only got two weeks to complete it hopfully we complete it. Here is some photos of what we have done today.

This week in Totara 1 We have been working on how to write instructions. Miss Power told us to create our own instructions of what our smoothie contains. After we had finished we had to do a success criteria marked by yourself, a peer and Miss power. Here is my instructions for a banana and Strawberry smoothie.

Strawberry and Banana smoothie

Ingredients

*3 bananas


*1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries


*1 & 1/3 cup of yoghurt


*½ cup milk


*2 tablespoons honey


1 glass cup

Step 1. the blender from the cupboard then place the banana,the frozen strawberry.

Step 2.Then grab the yogurt and then put 1 and ⅓ cup of yogurt and then put it in the blender.

Step 3.Grab the honey from the cupboard and then put 2 tablespoons of honey in the blender also.

Step 4.Now you put on the lid of the blender and turn on the powerpoint and mix.

Step 5.Pour slowly into to your cup and enjoy!

This week In Totara 1 we have been learning about enlargements in maths. Once we found a cartoon character  I chose Darwin from the amazing world of gumble we printed it out. We would have to create an equal graph to see how squares the cartoon took up my was 6 up and 4 across.Some of us found lining the lines up so they all matched up. My scale factor was 9 so then we had to draw it on a bigger piece of paper and then we were finished.

Today is the last day of school so here is a recap of my favourite activates this term.
This term started of with the rugby league tournament where Grey Main entered two teams and I was in the team that won the hole compation, we faced st pats in the final and won.
That previous week I was selected in the Grey Main team to travel to Canterbury, wich saw me have to get up at 4.00am in the morning. When we arrived it was drizzling an the tournament was cancelled and we  did not play in the tournament however we were fourtuite that a bording school welcomed us to play two games however we didn't have much success. It was a really fun day and to top it of we had MacDonald's on our way back.  term I also learnt bar graphs and how to solve them out.
Those are my highlights from this term I look forward to this term.

This morning we were fortunate to have Chris Lam Sam came and talked to the school  to about dream and what accomplishes our  dreams. He also showed us some of his video of our sea and how important it is to look after a beautiful marine life. He has accomplished lots ins his life He made a book, He has also meat lots of semi famous people, He was also apart of  the Funkie Munkies.
He has been travailing around New Zealand a the world the book he published is called
The missing EYE BROW.
